Except as otherwise provided in subsection 2, the Board may, by majority vote, select one or more persons, including, without limitation, a physician licensed pursuant to chapter 630 of NRS, an osteopathic physician licensed pursuant to chapter 633 of NRS or a member of the public, to serve as an advisory member of the Board.\n2. A person who is a stockholder in a manufacturer of hearing aids may not be selected to or serve as an advisory member of the Board.\n3.
