Except as otherwise provided in subsection 2:\n(a) An applicant for a license to engage in the practice of speech-language pathology must satisfy the academic requirements of an educational program accredited by the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association or its successor organization approved by the Board.\n(b) An applicant for a license to engage in the practice of audiology must satisfy the academic requirements of an educational program accredited by the:\n(1) American Speech-Language-Hearing Association or its successor organization approved by the Board; or\n(2) Accreditation Commission for Audiology Education or its successor organization approved by the Board.\n2.
