An alcohol and drug counselor, clinical alcohol and drug counselor or problem gambling counselor may:\n(a) Ask each new client who is 18 years of age or older if he or she is a veteran and document the response in the record of the client; and\n(b) Provide the contact information for the Department of Veterans Services to any such client who indicates that he or she is a veteran.\n2.
