The Nevada Funeral and Cemetery Services Board, consisting of seven members appointed by the Governor, is hereby created.\n2. The Governor shall appoint:\n(a) Two members who are actively engaged as a funeral director or embalmer.\n(b) One member who is actively engaged as an operator of a cemetery.\n(c) One member who is actively engaged in the operation of a crematory or direct cremation facility.\n(d) Three members who are representatives of the general public.\n3. No member of the Board who is a representative of the general public may:\n(a) Be the holder of a license, permit or certificate issued by the Board or be an applicant or former applicant for such a license, permit or certificate.\n(b) Be related within the third degree of consanguinity or affinity to the holder of a license, permit or certificate issued by the Board.\n(c) Be employed by the holder of a license, permit or certificate issued by the Board.\n4. After the initial terms, members of the Board serve terms of 4 years, except when appointed to fill unexpired terms.\n5.
