The Administrator shall issue a certificate to any person who:\n(a) Is of good moral character, honesty and integrity;\n(b) Has the education and experience prescribed in the regulations adopted pursuant to NRS 645D.120;\n(c) Has submitted proof that the person or his or her employer holds a policy of insurance that complies with the requirements of subsection 1 of NRS 645D.190; and\n(d) Has submitted all information required to complete an application for a certificate.\n2. The Administrator may deny an application for a certificate to any person who:\n(a) Has been convicted of, or entered a plea of guilty, guilty but mentally ill or nolo contendere to, forgery, embezzlement, obtaining money under false pretenses, larceny, extortion, conspiracy to defraud or any crime involving moral turpitude;\n(b) Makes a false statement of a material fact on the application;\n(c) Has had a certificate suspended or revoked pursuant to this chapter within the 10 years immediately preceding the date of application; or\n(d) Has not submitted proof that the person or his or her employer holds a policy of insurance that complies with the requirements of subsection 1 of NRS 645D.190.","path":["TITLE 54 — PROFESSIONS, OCCUPATIONS AND BUSINESSES","CHAPTER 645D - INSPECTORS OF STRUCTURES AND ENERGY AUDITORS","CERTIFICATES AND LICENSES"],"source_url":"https://www.leg.state.nv.us/NRS/NRS-645D.html#NRS645DSec200","current_through":"2025 session (NRS as revised 2026-08-25)","vintage":"","retrieved_at":"2026-09-03T05:51:45Z","sha256":"02a28402945039d1c47e4a813510bddea1b47d0adb5c29ed4e0d732def404792","source_id":"us-nv","stale":true,"prev":"us-nv/nrs-645d.195--2","next":"us-nv/nrs-645d.205"},"notice":"GroundRules: Original legal text.
