Except as otherwise provided in NRS 253.220, no person may:\n(a) Engage in the business of private investigator, private patrol officer, process server, repossessor, dog handler, security consultant, or polygraphic examiner or intern; or\n(b) Advertise his or her business as such, irrespective of the name or title actually used,\nÊ unless the person is licensed pursuant to this chapter.\n2. No person may be employed by a licensee unless the person is registered pursuant to this chapter.
