Every person in charge of an investigative or law enforcement agency within this state shall:\n(a) Cooperate with the Commissioner and the investigators of the Commissioner, and the Attorney General and the members of the Fraud Control Unit; and\n(b) Upon request, furnish the Commissioner or Attorney General, as appropriate, with any information necessary for the investigation of insurance fraud.\n2.
