A carrier that offers a health benefit plan that provides coverage for the treatment of lung cancer must provide coverage for screening for lung cancer in accordance with:\n(a) The guidelines concerning screening for lung cancer which are published by the American Cancer Society; or\n(b) Other guidelines or reports concerning screening for lung cancer which are published by nationally recognized professional organizations and which are based on current or prevailing supporting scientific data.\n2.
