The Director shall prepare a report concerning the status of energy in the State of Nevada and submit it to:\n(a) The Governor on or before January 30 of each year; and\n(b) The Director of the Legislative Counsel Bureau for transmittal to the next regular session of the Legislature on or before January 30 of each odd-numbered year.\n2. The report submitted pursuant to subsection 1 must include, without limitation:\n(a) A description of the objectives of each activity and program of the Office of Energy;\n(b) An analysis of the effectiveness and efficiency of each activity and program of the Office of Energy in meeting the objectives of the activity or program;\n(c) The amount of money distributed for each activity and program of the Office of Energy from the Trust Account for Renewable Energy and Energy Conservation created by NRS 701.370 and a detailed description of the use of that money for each activity and program;\n(d) An analysis of the coordination between the Office of Energy and other officers and agencies; and\n(e) Any changes planned for each activity and program of the Office of Energy.","path":["TITLE 58 — ENERGY; PUBLIC UTILITIES AND SIMILAR ENTITIES","CHAPTER 701 - ENERGY POLICY","GENERAL ADMINISTRATION OF ENERGY POLICY","General Powers and Duties"],"source_url":"https://www.leg.state.nv.us/NRS/NRS-701.html#NRS701Sec160","current_through":"2025 session (NRS as revised 2026-08-25)","vintage":"","retrieved_at":"2026-09-03T05:51:46Z","sha256":"5ba39d9f5c6370c5f7e55d6fd8c7db4a79fd0d83507cdd07e01202c89737adad","source_id":"us-nv","stale":true,"prev":"us-nv/nrs-701.150","next":"us-nv/nrs-701.170"},"notice":"GroundRules: Original legal text.
