{"data":{"id":"us-nv/nrs-704.7571","jurisdiction":"us-nv","citation":"NRS 704.7571","heading":"“Electric utility” defined.","body":"1. “Electric utility” means:\n(a) Any public utility or successor in interest that:\n(1) Is in the business of providing electric service to customers;\n(2) Holds a certificate of public convenience and necessity issued or transferred pursuant to this chapter; and\n(3) In the most recently completed calendar year or in any other calendar year within the 7 calendar years immediately preceding the most recently completed calendar year, had a gross operating revenue of $250,000,000 or more in this state;\n(b) A subsidiary or affiliate of such a public utility;\n(c) A holding company or other person that holds a controlling interest in such a public utility; and\n(d) A successor in interest to any public utility, subsidiary, affiliate, holding company or person described in paragraph (a), (b) or (c).\n2.
