{"data":{"id":"us-nv/nrs-722.350","jurisdiction":"us-nv","citation":"NRS 722.350","heading":"Disclosure of other digital assets of deceased user.","body":"Unless the user prohibited disclosure of digital assets or the court directs otherwise, a custodian shall disclose to the personal representative of the estate of a deceased user a catalogue of electronic communications sent or received by the user and digital assets, other than the content of electronic communications, of the user, if the representative gives the custodian:\n1. A written request for disclosure in physical or electronic form;\n2. A certified copy of the death certificate of the user;\n3. A certified copy of the court order appointing the representative; and\n4. If requested by the custodian:\n(a) A number, username, address or other unique subscriber or account identifier assigned by the custodian to identify the user’s account;\n(b) Evidence linking the account to the user;\n(c) An affidavit stating that disclosure of the user’s digital assets is reasonably necessary for administration of the estate; or\n(d) A finding by the court that:\n(1) The user had a specific account with the custodian, identifiable by the information specified in paragraph (a); or\n(2) Disclosure of the user’s digital assets is reasonably necessary for administration of the estate.","path":["TITLE 59—ELECTRONIC RECORDS AND TRANSACTIONS","CHAPTER 722 - FIDUCIARY ACCESS TO DIGITAL ASSETS (UNIFORM ACT)"],"source_url":"https://www.leg.state.nv.us/NRS/NRS-722.html#NRS722Sec350","current_through":"2025 session (NRS as revised 2026-08-25)","vintage":"","retrieved_at":"2026-09-03T05:51:47Z","sha256":"a6f9aa3e82388c81e109534690e27f0414470586df4d92a8a712e50d9fdde825","source_id":"us-nv","stale":true,"prev":"us-nv/nrs-722.340","next":"us-nv/nrs-722.360"},"notice":"GroundRules: Original legal text.
