A certificate of registration of a registered limited-liability partnership may be amended by filing with the Secretary of State a certificate of amendment. The certificate of amendment must set forth:\n(a) The name of the registered limited-liability partnership; and\n(b) The change to the information contained in the original certificate of registration or any other certificates of amendment.\n2. The certificate of amendment must be:\n(a) Signed by a managing partner of the registered limited-liability partnership; and\n(b) Accompanied by a fee of $175.\n3. A certificate filed pursuant to this section is effective at the time of the filing of the certificate with the Secretary of State or upon a later date and time as specified in the certificate, which date must not be more than 90 days after the date on which the certificate is filed.
