Selling disabled Equidae. It shall be unlawful for any person\nholding an auctioneer's license knowingly to receive or offer for sale\nor to sell at public auction, other than at a sheriff's or judicial sale\nunder a court order, any Equidae which by reason of debility, disease or\nlameness, or for any other cause, could not be worked in this state\nwithout violating the law against cruelty to animals. A violation of\nthis section shall be a misdemeanor punishable by a fine of not more\nthan one thousand dollars, or by imprisonment for not more than six\nmonths, or by both such fine and imprisonment.","path":["Agriculture \u0026 Markets Law","Article 26.
