Definitions.\n  1. \"Area of special flood hazard\" means any area subject to a one\npercent or greater chance of flooding in any given year as determined by\nthe federal emergency management agency.\n  2. \"Local government with land use jurisdiction\" means a city; a town\nas to all areas within such town outside the limits of any village; and\na village.\n  3. \"National flood insurance program\" means that act of congress\ncodified as chapter fifty of title forty-two of the United States code,\nall acts amendatory thereof and all regulations promulgated thereunder.","path":["Environmental Conservation Law","Article 36.
