For the purposes of this article the following\nterms have the following meanings:\n  1. \"Commission\" means the state commission on prosecutorial conduct.\n  2. \"Prosecutor\" means a district attorney or any assistant district\nattorney of any county of the state in an action to exact any criminal\npenalty, fine, sanction or forfeiture.\n  3. \"Hearing\" means a proceeding under subdivision four of section four\nhundred ninety-nine-f of this article.\n  4. \"Member of the bar\" means a person admitted to the practice of law\nin this state for at least five years.\n  5. \"Retired judge\" shall mean a former judge or justice of the unified\ncourt system who was qualified as an attorney during such service and\nserved as such a judge or justice for at least five years.","path":["Judiciary Law","Article 15-A.
