Code § 11-2324","heading":"§ 11-2324 Application; limitations; exemptions.","body":"(a) The surcharge established pursuant to the provisions of section 11-2323 shall be imposed on a per access line basis on all current bills rendered for local exchange access service within the 911 service area.\n\n(b) No such surcharge shall be imposed upon:\n\n(1) more than seventy-five exchange access lines per customer per location;\n\n(2) any lifeline customers of a local telephone service supplier;\n\n(3) a public safety agency; or\n\n(4) any municipality, as defined in subdivision (e) of section 11-2322 of this chapter.","path":["New York City Administrative Code","Chapter 23-A: Enhanced 911 Telephone Surcharge"],"source_url":"https://files.amlegal.com/pdffiles/NewYorkCity/Admin/XML.zip","current_through":"Local Law 2026/135 (enacted August 31, 2026)","vintage":"","retrieved_at":"2026-09-06T02:48:57Z","sha256":"e39b00304cebd9e7e27755aeb7e677e22e2ea879de68d4324df91c624c0294ad","source_id":"us-nyc","stale":false,"prev":"us-nyc/n.y.c.-admin.-code-11-2323","next":"us-nyc/n.y.c.-admin.-code-11-2325"},"notice":"GroundRules: Original legal text.
