Code § 14-194","heading":"§ 14-194 Providing body-worn camera footage.","body":"a. \n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\tDefinition. For the purposes of this section, the term “body-worn camera” means a video recording device that can be attached or affixed to a person’s body, apparel, or clothing.\n\nb. Within 10 business days of receipt of a request for body-worn camera footage by the commissioner of investigation and unless prohibited by law, the department shall provide such requested body-worn camera footage to such commissioner. Where the provision of such footage is prohibited by law, the department shall, within 10 business days of receipt of such request, issue a denial, which shall include a citation to the law that prohibits the disclosure of such footage.\n\nc.
