The commissioner shall engage in ongoing public education efforts to inform employers, employment agencies, employees and job applicants about their rights and responsibilities under this chapter, and shall make best efforts to:\n\n1. In coordination with the department of health and mental hygiene, distribute posters, flyers, and other written materials concerning employees’ rights pursuant to this chapter to pharmacies, doctors’ offices, and hospitals and such other sites as may be appropriate; and\n\n2. Invite the New York city health and hospitals corporation to participate in the posting and dissemination of posters, flyers and written materials concerning employees’ rights pursuant to this chapter.\n\nb.
