Code § 28-430.1","heading":"§ 28-430.1 Special electrician license required.","body":"It shall be unlawful for any person:\n\n1. To perform electrical work unless such person is a licensed special electrician or working under the direct and continuing supervision of a licensed special electrician.\n\nExceptions:\n\n1. Low voltage electrical work may be performed by qualified persons, as defined in the New York city electrical code.\n\n2. Electrical work may be performed by persons licensed as master electricians or persons working under the direct and continuing supervision of such licensed master electricians pursuant to article 429 of this chapter.\n\n2.
