The commissioner of citywide administrative services or the commissioner of housing preservation and development, when requested to do so by the mayor, may cause to be demolished any buildings or structures located on any real property which the commissioner is authorized to manage and superintend.\n\nb. Whenever a borough superintendent of the department of buildings requests, pursuant to the provisions of section 26-240 of the code, that the commissioner demolish any building or structure or part thereof as to which a precept has been issued pursuant to the provisions of section 26-239 of the code, the commissioner shall cause same to be demolished in accordance with such request.\n\nc.
