A protected premises fire alarm control unit that is intended to operate specifically identified emergency control function(s). {NFPA 72 – 3.3.100.2.1 as amended by Appendix Q of the New York City Building Code.}\n\nInformational Note: Examples of a dedicated function fire alarm control unit include a supervisory control unit and either an automatic sprinkler alarm or an elevator recall control.\n\nReleasing Fire Alarm System (RFAS).
