Code § BC H108","heading":"Section BC H108: Animated Devices","body":"H108.1 Fail-safe device.\n\nSigns that contain moving sections or ornaments shall have fail-safe provisions to prevent the section or ornament from releasing and falling or shifting its center of gravity more than 15 inches (381 mm). The fail-safe device shall be in addition to the mechanism and the mechanism's housing that operate the movable section or ornament.
