Temporary sign structures, with display area greater than 100 square feet (9.3 m\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t2\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t), shall be constructed of rigid materials with rigid frames.\n\nH116.2 Attachment.\n\nTemporary signs shall be securely attached to the sign structure.\n\nH116.3 Duration.\n\nTemporary signs shall be removed no later than 30 days after erection or as soon as such sign is torn or damaged.\n\nH116.4 Limitations.\n\nTemporary signs constructed of combustible materials shall not extend more than 12 inches (305 mm) over, or into, a street.\n\nExceptions:\n\n1. When permitted by the Department of Transportation, temporary signs of combustible materials may be suspended from buildings or poles to extend across streets.\n\n2.
