Code § EBC 1103","heading":"Section EBC 1103: Structural","body":"1103.1 Compliance with Chapter 7 of the New York City Existing Building Code.\n\nAdditions to existing buildings or structures are new construction and shall comply with the New York City Building Code and Chapter 7\n\n1103.2 Flood hazard areas.\n\nAdditions and foundations in flood hazard areas shall comply with Appendix G of the New York City Building Code and Chapter 7.\n\n1103.3 Structural condition assessment.\n\nAdditions to existing buildings or structures shall require an initial structural condition assessment in accordance with Section 704.2.
