Code § EBC 1401","heading":"Section EBC 1401: General","body":"1401.1 Scope.\n\nThis chapter provides requirements for relocated, moved, or raised buildings including relocatable buildings, as defined in Chapter 2.\n\n1401.1.1 Multiple dwellings.\n\nThe relocation, moving, or raising of multiple dwellings shall also comply with Appendix D.\n\n1401.2 Conformance.\n\nThe relocation, moving or raising of a building shall not create any new noncompliance with the applicable provisions of the \n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\tNew York City Building Code\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t. Any repair, alteration, or change of occupancy undertaken within the relocated, moved, or raised building shall comply with the requirements of this code applicable to the work being performed, as indicated in \n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\tChapter 6\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t.
