Code § EBC 314","heading":"Section EBC 314: Multiple Dwellings","body":"314.1 Applicability of the New York State Multiple Dwelling Law (MDL) and Appendix D.\n\nExisting buildings classified in Occupancy Groups I-1, R-1 and R-2, containing 3 dwelling units or more shall be identified as multiple dwellings, subject to the MDL and Appendix D of this code.
