Code § FC 201","heading":"Section FC 201: General","body":"201.1 Scope.\n\nUnless otherwise expressly stated, the following terms shall, for the purposes of this code, have the meanings set forth in this chapter.\n\n201.2 Interchangeability.\n\nWords stated in the present tense include the future; words stated in the masculine gender include the feminine and neuter; the singular number includes the plural and the plural the singular.\n\n201.3 Terms defined in other codes.\n\nWhere terms are not defined in this code and are defined in the construction codes or Electrical Code, such terms shall have the meanings ascribed to them as in those codes.
