Code § FC 3305","heading":"Section FC 3305: Flammable and Combustible Liquids","body":"3305.1 Storage, handling and use of flammable and combustible liquids.\n\nStorage, handling and use of flammable and combustible liquids shall be in accordance with FC 5706.2 and such other provisions of FC Chapter 57 as may be applicable to the specific construction site material or operation.\n\n3305.2 Ventilation.\n\nAdequate ventilation shall be provided for operations involving the application of materials containing flammable solvents.\n\n3305.3 Housekeeping.\n\nFlammable and combustible liquid storage areas shall be maintained clear of vegetation and combustible waste. Such storage areas shall not be used for the storage of combustible materials.\n\n3305.4 Precautions against fire.\n\nSources of ignition and smoking shall be prohibited in flammable and combustible liquid storage areas. \"No Smoking\" signs in compliance with the requirements of FC 310 shall be conspicuously posted.\n\n3305.5 Handling at point of final use.\n\nClass I and II liquids shall be stored in approved safety containers.\n\n3305.6 Leakage and spills.\n\nLeaking containers shall be immediately repaired or taken out of service.
