Code § FC 3314","heading":"Section FC 3314: Sprinkler System","body":"3314.1 Sprinkler systems.\n\nSprinkler systems for use at construction sites shall be provided, maintained, and made available for department use, in accordance with this code, and the construction codes, including the Building Code.\n\n3314.2 Completion before occupancy.\n\nIn buildings or structures where a sprinkler system is required by this code or the construction codes, including the Building Code, it shall be unlawful to occupy any portion of a building or structure until the sprinkler system installation has been tested and approved.\n\n3314.3 Operation of valves.\n\nSprinkler control valves shall be operated only by authorized personnel. Such operation shall be under the general supervision of the fire safety manager where one is required pursuant to FC 3308.
