No. 478\n\nBy Council Member Alter (by the request of the Mayor); also Council Member Robinson\n\nA Local Law to repeal subchapter 3 of chapter 4 of title 20 of the administrative code of the city of New York, in relation to solid fuel dealers and weighmasters\n\nBe it enacted by the Council as follows:\n\n* * *\n\n[Consolidated provisions are not included in this Appendix A]\n\n* * *\n\n§ 2. Notwithstanding any other provision of law, any solid fuel dealer license, solid fuel transportation vehicle license or weighmaster license issued by the commissioner of consumer affairs prior to the effective date of this local law shall become null and void and be of no further effect as of the effective date of this local law. Notwithstanding any other provision of law, if the holder of a solid fuel dealer license or weighmaster license surrenders the license within 60 days after the effective date of this local law to the department of consumer affairs, such holder may receive a refund of an amount equal to the fee for a solid fuel dealer license or weighmaster license prorated to the unexpired portion of such license term. Notwithstanding any other provision of law, if the holder of a solid fuel transportation vehicle license surrenders the license and the metal plate issued by the commissioner of consumer affairs for each such licensed vehicle within 60 days after the effective date of this local law to the department of consumer affairs, such holder may receive a refund of an amount equal to the fee for the solid fuel transportation vehicle license prorated to the unexpired portion of such license term.\n\n§ 3. No action or proceeding, civil or criminal, pending at the time when this local law shall take effect shall be affected or abated by the adoption of this local law or by anything contained herein and all such actions or proceedings may be continued notwithstanding the adoption of this local law.\n\n§ 4.
