No. 390\n\nBy Council Members Berman, Cruz, Pagan, Williams and Abel (by the request of the Mayor) (Passed under a message of necessity by the Mayor)\n\nA Local Law to amend the administrative code of the city of New York, in relation to the liability of owners of vehicles for failure of operator to comply with traffic-control indications\n\nBe it enacted by the Council as follows:\n\n* * *\n\n[Consolidated provisions are not included in this Appendix A]\n\n* * *\n\n§ 2. This local law shall take effect on the same date as a chapter of the laws of 1994 amending subdivision (e) of section 1111-a of the vehicle and traffic law relating to the liability of owners or vehicles for failure of operator to comply with traffic-control indications, and provided that the amendments made to subdivision (f) of section 19-210 of the administrative code of the city of New York by section one of this local law shall not affect the repeal of the provisions of such section pursuant to local law number 46 for the year 1989, and such amendments shall be deemed to be repealed therewith.","path":["New York City Administrative Code","1994"],"source_url":"https://files.amlegal.com/pdffiles/NewYorkCity/Admin/XML.zip","current_through":"Local Law 2026/135 (enacted August 31, 2026)","vintage":"","retrieved_at":"2026-09-06T02:48:57Z","sha256":"1fc2bec71d5ced98c9744ff59550108cc24e40f199b22a1fcc37534f4fae510a","source_id":"us-nyc","stale":false,"prev":"us-nyc/n.y.c.-admin.-code-l.l.-1994-028","next":"us-nyc/n.y.c.-admin.-code-l.l.-1994-035"},"notice":"GroundRules: Original legal text.
