No. 599-A\n\nBy the Speaker (Council Member Johnson) and Council Members Deutsch, Kallos, Constantinides, Ampry-Samuel, Rivera, Miller and Borelli\n\nA Local Law to amend the administrative code of the city of New York, in relation to requiring the fire department to conduct outreach and education to residential buildings\n\nBe it enacted by the Council as follows:\n\n* * *\n\n[Consolidated provisions are not included in this Appendix A]\n\n* * *\n\n§ 2. This local law takes effect 120 days after it becomes law, except that the commissioner of fire may take such measures as are necessary for the implementation of this local law, including the promulgation of rules, before such date.
