No. 394-A\n\nBy Council Members Powers, Bottcher, Abreu, Restler, Brewer, Hanif, Hudson, Schulman, Krishnan, Rivera, Salaam, Banks, Louis, Marte, Dinowitz, Ung, Menin, Williams, Narcisse, De La Rosa, Brooks-Powers, Ayala, Joseph, Hanks, Ariola and Paladino (in conjunction with the Manhattan Borough President)\n\nA Local Law to amend the administrative code of the city of New York, in relation to exterior wall inspection requirements\n\nBe it enacted by the Council as follows:\n\nSection 1. The department of buildings shall conduct a study regarding article 302 of chapter 3 of title 28 of the administrative code of the city of New York relating to the periodic inspections of exterior walls. Such study shall evaluate the appropriate time period within which critical examinations of a building’s exterior walls and appurtenances should be conducted. The department of buildings shall complete such study and make recommendations concerning the inspection schedule set forth in article 302 of chapter 3 of title 28 of the administrative code of the city of New York to the speaker of the city council by December 31, 2025.\n\n* * *\n\n[Consolidated provisions are not included in this Appendix A]\n\n* * *\n\n§ 3.
