No. 1133-A\n\nBy Council Members Gutiérrez, Nurse, Hanif, Cabán, Ossé, Restler, Brewer, Abreu, Hudson, Avilés, Feliz, De La Rosa, Rivera, Marte, Louis and Joseph\n\nA Local Law to amend the administrative code of the city of New York, in relation to protections for contracted delivery workers\n\nBe it enacted by the Council as follows:\n\n* * *\n\n[Consolidated provisions are not included in this Appendix A]\n\n* * *\n\n§ 3. This local law takes effect immediately, except that sections 20-1521, 20-1523, 20-1524, 20-1525, and subdivision b of section 20-1522, of the administrative code of the city of New York, as amended by, and section 20-1527 of such code, as added by, section one of this local law, and section two of this local law, take effect on the same date that a local law for the year 2025 amending the administrative code of the city of New York, relating to safe delivery device access for contracted delivery workers, as proposed in introduction number 30-B, takes effect, and provided that subdivision a of section 20-1522, as amended by section one of this local law, shall be deemed to apply to any study conducted or method established pursuant to such subdivision prior to the effective date of such amendments.","path":["New York City Administrative Code","2025"],"source_url":"https://files.amlegal.com/pdffiles/NewYorkCity/Admin/XML.zip","current_through":"Local Law 2026/135 (enacted August 31, 2026)","vintage":"","retrieved_at":"2026-09-06T02:48:57Z","sha256":"e3e8d7f87af1284938c70dcab7353a5899cdd15bbdf067e6c3bc403e51bfa0d5","source_id":"us-nyc","stale":false,"prev":"us-nyc/n.y.c.-admin.-code-l.l.-2025-122","next":"us-nyc/n.y.c.-admin.-code-l.l.-2025-124"},"notice":"GroundRules: Original legal text.
