Code § MC 807","heading":"Section MC 807: Changes In Appliance Fuels","body":"807.1 Changes in appliance fuels.\n\nConversion of appliances from solid or liquid fuel to, or the addition of, natural gas shall be installed per the New York City Fuel Gas Code. Conversion from natural gas to, or the addition of, #2 fuel oil for a heating appliance shall be made only if:\n\n1. The chimney design meets the requirements of this chapter for the conversion fuel, and the chimney is test run and smoke tested in accordance with Section 810.\n\n2. The chimney is sized to provide adequate draft and vent the combustion products for the new fuel.\n\n3.
