Code § MC 913","heading":"Section MC 913: Clothes Dryers","body":"913.1 General.\n\nClothes dryers shall be installed in accordance with the manufacturer's instructions and shall comply with the following as applicable:\n\n1. Electric commercial clothes dryers shall be tested in accordance with UL 1240.\n\n2. Electric residential clothes dryers shall be tested in accordance with UL 2158.\n\n3. Electric coin-, ticket-, or card-operated clothes dryers shall be tested in accordance with UL 2158.\n\n913.2 Exhaust required.\n\nClothes dryers shall be exhausted in accordance with Section 504.\n\nException: Electric clothes dryers provided with a condensate drain.
