Code § 1114.12","heading":"Notice of meetings.","body":"(A) Whenever members of a mutual state bank are required or authorized to elect directors or to take any other action at a meeting, either annual or special, notice of the meeting shall be given in either of the following ways:\n(1) By publication, once each week on the same day of the week for three consecutive weeks immediately preceding the date of the meeting in a newspaper published in and of general circulation in the county in which the principal office of the bank is located, of a notice containing the name of the bank and the purpose, place, date, and hour of the meeting;\n(2) By notice served upon or mailed to members as provided in section 1701.41 of the Revised Code.\n(B) The notice required under division (A) of this section shall include a statement that, if a member granted a proxy to the officers and directors of the bank, the proxy is revocable at any time before the meeting or by attending the meeting and voting in person.","path":["Title 11 Banks-Savings and Loan Associations","Chapter 1114 Mutual State Banks"],"source_url":"https://codes.ohio.gov/ohio-revised-code/section-1114.12","current_through":"2018-01-01 (House Bill 49 - 132nd General Assembly)","vintage":"","retrieved_at":"2026-09-14T19:24:28Z","sha256":"15b37ad47bc789698dc2af8b60ce74d7a75235b9be9707982ed19364c132f044","source_id":"us-oh","stale":false,"prev":"us-oh/ohio-rev.-code-1114.11","next":"us-oh/ohio-rev.-code-1114.16"},"notice":"GroundRules: Original legal text.
