Code § 1123.03","heading":"Banking commission - duties.","body":"The banking commission shall do all of the following:\n(A) Make recommendations to the deputy superintendent for banks and the superintendent of financial institutions on the business of banking;\n(B) Consider and make recommendations on any matter the superintendent or deputy superintendent submits to the commission for that purpose;\n(C) Pass upon and determine any matter the superintendent or deputy superintendent submits to the commission for determination;\n(D) Consider and determine whether to confirm the annual schedule of assessments proposed by the superintendent in accordance with section 1121.29 of the Revised Code;\n(E) Determine whether to increase the schedule of assessments as provided in division (A)(3) of section 1121.29 of the Revised Code;\n(F) Determine, as provided in division (D) of section 1121.12 of the Revised Code, both of the following:\n(1) Whether there is reasonable cause to believe that there is a significant risk of imminent material harm to the bank;\n(2) Whether the examination of the bank holding company is necessary to fully determine the risk to the bank, or to determine how best to address the risk to the bank.","path":["Title 11 Banks-Savings and Loan Associations","Chapter 1123 Banking Commission"],"source_url":"https://codes.ohio.gov/ohio-revised-code/section-1123.03","current_through":"2017-09-29 (House Bill 49 - 132nd General Assembly)","vintage":"","retrieved_at":"2026-09-14T19:24:28Z","sha256":"dd5cb027ad66a8b3d407ced2a22eb2155c5126164fe3a8c138231bb7a10ff9d1","source_id":"us-oh","stale":false,"prev":"us-oh/ohio-rev.-code-1123.02","next":"us-oh/ohio-rev.-code-1123.04"},"notice":"GroundRules: Original legal text.
