Code § 118.021","heading":"Initiating fiscal watch review.","body":"A municipal corporation, county, or township may undergo a fiscal watch review to determine whether it is approaching a state of fiscal emergency. A fiscal watch review shall be initiated by a written request to the auditor of state from the mayor of the municipal corporation, or the presiding officer of the legislative authority of the municipal corporation when authorized by a majority of the members of the legislative authority; from a board of county commissioners, or the county executive of a county formed under Chapter 302. of the Revised Code; or from a board of township trustees; or may be initiated by the auditor of state.
