Code § 1302.64","heading":"What constitutes acceptance of goods - UCC 2-606.","body":"(A) Acceptance of goods occurs when the buyer:\n(1) after a reasonable opportunity to inspect the goods signifies to the seller that the goods are conforming or that he will take or retain them in spite of their non-conformity; or\n(2) fails to make an effective rejection as provided in division (A) of section 1302.61 of the Revised Code, but such acceptance does not occur until the buyer has had a reasonable opportunity to inspect them; or\n(3) does any act inconsistent with the seller's ownership; but if such act is wrongful as against the seller it is an acceptance only if ratified by him.\n(B) Acceptance of a part of any commercial unit is acceptance of that entire unit.","path":["Title 13 Commercial Transactions","Chapter 1302 Sales"],"source_url":"https://codes.ohio.gov/ohio-revised-code/section-1302.64","current_through":"1962-07-01 (Senate Bill 5 - 104th General Assembly)","vintage":"","retrieved_at":"2026-09-14T19:24:29Z","sha256":"1f49680a21219d712bd3978ba4c1d546c2dd15f7045bc9de3bf4f4eb436e9eb4","source_id":"us-oh","stale":false,"prev":"us-oh/ohio-rev.-code-1302.63","next":"us-oh/ohio-rev.-code-1302.65"},"notice":"GroundRules: Original legal text.
