Code § 1309.623","heading":"Right to redeem collateral - UCC 9-623.","body":"(A) A debtor, any secondary obligor, or any other secured party or lienholder may redeem collateral.\n(B) To redeem collateral, a person shall tender:\n(1) Fulfillment of all obligations secured by the collateral; and\n(2) The reasonable expenses and attorney's fees described in division (A)(1) of section 1309.615 of the Revised Code.\n(C) A redemption may occur at any time before a secured party:\n(1) Has collected collateral under section 1309.607 of the Revised Code;\n(2) Has disposed of collateral or entered into a contract for its disposition under section 1309.610 of the Revised Code; or\n(3) Has accepted collateral in full or partial satisfaction of the obligation it secures under section 1309.622 of the Revised Code.","path":["Title 13 Commercial Transactions","Chapter 1309 Secured Transactions"],"source_url":"https://codes.ohio.gov/ohio-revised-code/section-1309.623","current_through":"2001-07-01 (Senate Bill 74 - 124th General Assembly)","vintage":"","retrieved_at":"2026-09-14T19:24:29Z","sha256":"b06893a7ca7ec375888e170961c7c0b84c69d5f4635b695966158c79f16d7227","source_id":"us-oh","stale":false,"prev":"us-oh/ohio-rev.-code-1309.622","next":"us-oh/ohio-rev.-code-1309.624"},"notice":"GroundRules: Original legal text.
