Code § 1510.02","heading":"Technical advisory council - powers and duties.","body":"(A) In accordance with this chapter, the technical advisory council shall do all of the following:\n(1) Establish procedures by which producers in this state may propose, develop, and operate a marketing program to do all of the following:\n(a) Demonstrate to the general public the importance and economic significance of the oil and natural gas industry in this state;\n(b) Encourage the wise and efficient use of energy;\n(c) Promote environmentally sound production methods and technologies in the industry;\n(d) Support research, training, and educational activities concerning the industry.\n(2) Establish procedures necessary to implement and administer this chapter;\n(3) Determine the eligibility of producers to participate in referendums and other procedures that may be required to establish a marketing program for oil and natural gas.\n(B) The council may conduct business by a majority of those members voting without need of a quorum.","path":["Title 15 Conservation of Natural Resources","Chapter 1510 Oil And Natural Gas Marketing Program"],"source_url":"https://codes.ohio.gov/ohio-revised-code/section-1510.02","current_through":"2016-12-19 (House Bill 471 - 131st General Assembly)","vintage":"","retrieved_at":"2026-09-14T19:24:29Z","sha256":"7a1fb3a01a154c5696eab849a6eddf1451e1133692fa8182b708e6986bff1e91","source_id":"us-oh","stale":false,"prev":"us-oh/ohio-rev.-code-1510.01","next":"us-oh/ohio-rev.-code-1510.03"},"notice":"GroundRules: Original legal text.
