Code § 1716.06","heading":"Collection receptacles.","body":"The operator of a collection receptacle shall display all of the following information on the collection receptacle in letters that are at least three inches in height and not less than one-half inch in width, are on a permanent sign or label placed on every side of the collection receptacle, and are in a color that contrasts with the color of the collection receptacle:\n(A) The name, address, and telephone number of the charitable organization that will receive goods collected in the collection receptacle;\n(B) If the collection receptacle is operated by a professional solicitor, the name, address, and telephone number of the professional solicitor;\n(C) If the collection receptacle is operated by a professional solicitor, a statement that the contract disclosing the financial arrangements between the professional solicitor and the charitable organization is on file with and available from the attorney general.","path":["Title 17 Corporations-Partnerships","Chapter 1716 Charitable Organizations"],"source_url":"https://codes.ohio.gov/ohio-revised-code/section-1716.06","current_through":"2025-03-20 (House Bill 184 - 135th General Assembly)","vintage":"","retrieved_at":"2026-09-14T19:24:29Z","sha256":"3fea643877f22c2165d95c1ab74f7e3413b5b6c15e1afc46d101503c4c5bcde3","source_id":"us-oh","stale":false,"prev":"us-oh/ohio-rev.-code-1716.05","next":"us-oh/ohio-rev.-code-1716.07"},"notice":"GroundRules: Original legal text.
