Code § 173.431","heading":"Administration of budget.","body":"The department of aging shall ensure that the unified long-term care budget established under section 173.43 of the Revised Code is administered in a manner that provides medicaid coverage of and expands access to all of the following as necessary to meet the needs of individuals receiving home and community-based services covered by medicaid components the department of aging administers:\n(A) To the extent permitted by the medicaid waivers authorizing department of aging-administered medicaid waiver components, all of the following medicaid waiver services provided under department of aging-administered medicaid waiver components:\n(1) Personal care services;\n(2) Home-delivered meals;\n(3) Adult day-care;\n(4) Homemaker services;\n(5) Emergency response services;\n(6) Medical equipment and supplies;\n(7) Chore services;\n(8) Social work counseling;\n(9) Nutritional counseling;\n(10) Independent living assistance;\n(11) Medical transportation;\n(12) Nonmedical transportation;\n(13) Home care attendant services;\n(14) Assisted living services;\n(15) Community transition services;\n(16) Enhanced community living services;\n(17) All other medicaid waiver services provided under department of aging-administered medicaid waiver components.\n(B) All of the following state medicaid plan services as specified in rules adopted under section 5164.02 of the Revised Code:\n(1) Home health services;\n(2) Private duty nursing services;\n(3) Durable medical equipment;\n(4) Services of a clinical nurse specialist;\n(5) Services of a certified nurse practitioner.\n(C) The services that the PACE program provides.","path":["Title 1 State Government","Chapter 173 Department of Aging"],"source_url":"https://codes.ohio.gov/ohio-revised-code/section-173.431","current_through":"2013-09-29 (House Bill 59 - 130th General Assembly)","vintage":"","retrieved_at":"2026-09-14T19:24:26Z","sha256":"4d0863a9e8a817b552ecb2032b7beeae434bba3c1040f95e7c3a70713fce7e6d","source_id":"us-oh","stale":false,"prev":"us-oh/ohio-rev.-code-173.43","next":"us-oh/ohio-rev.-code-173.432"},"notice":"GroundRules: Original legal text.
