Code § 173.541","heading":"Eligibility for assisted living program.","body":"To be eligible for the medicaid-funded component of the assisted living program, an individual must meet all of the following requirements:\n(A) Need an intermediate level of care as determined by an assessment conducted under section 173.546 of the Revised Code;\n(B) While receiving assisted living services under the medicaid-funded component, reside in a residential care facility that is authorized by a valid medicaid provider agreement to participate in the component, including both of the following:\n(1) A residential care facility that is owned or operated by a metropolitan housing authority that has a contract with the United States department of housing and urban development to receive an operating subsidy or rental assistance for the residents of the facility;\n(2) A county or district home licensed as a residential care facility.\n(C) Meet all other eligibility requirements for the medicaid-funded component established in rules adopted under section 173.54 of the Revised Code.","path":["Title 1 State Government","Chapter 173 Department of Aging"],"source_url":"https://codes.ohio.gov/ohio-revised-code/section-173.541","current_through":"2013-09-29 (House Bill 59 - 130th General Assembly)","vintage":"","retrieved_at":"2026-09-14T19:24:26Z","sha256":"c3ac96e9238c2e863d8d1bbd2e982dd9837cb543c4c755cba84bcb50ab8da3e8","source_id":"us-oh","stale":false,"prev":"us-oh/ohio-rev.-code-173.54","next":"us-oh/ohio-rev.-code-173.542"},"notice":"GroundRules: Original legal text.
