Code § 2108.22","heading":"Validity of document of gift.","body":"(A) A document of gift is valid if executed in accordance with any of the following:\n(1) Sections 2108.01 to 2108.29 of the Revised Code;\n(2) The laws of the state or country where it was executed;\n(3) The laws of the state or country where the person making the anatomical gift was domiciled, has a place of residence, or was a resident or national at the time the document of gift was executed.\n(B) If a document of gift is valid under this section, the law of this state shall govern the interpretation of the document of gift.\n(C) A person may presume that a document of gift or amendment of an anatomical gift is valid unless that person knows that it was not validly executed or was revoked.","path":["Title 21 Courts-Probate-Juvenile","Chapter 2108 Human Bodies Or Parts Thereof"],"source_url":"https://codes.ohio.gov/ohio-revised-code/section-2108.22","current_through":"2009-04-07 (House Bill 529 - 127th General Assembly)","vintage":"","retrieved_at":"2026-09-14T19:24:30Z","sha256":"0def5c08322b189a73b18bc8c0601cca2597de4f541901354bfd8f2c2256da3a","source_id":"us-oh","stale":false,"prev":"us-oh/ohio-rev.-code-2108.21","next":"us-oh/ohio-rev.-code-2108.23"},"notice":"GroundRules: Original legal text.
