Code § 2137.09","heading":"Disclosure of other digital Assets of principal.","body":"Unless otherwise ordered by the court, directed by the principal, or provided by a power of attorney, a custodian shall disclose to an agent with specific authority over digital assets or general authority to act on behalf of a principal a catalogue of electronic communications sent or received by the principal and digital assets, other than the content of electronic communications, of the principal, if the a gent gives the custodian all of the following:\n(A) A written request for disclosure in physical or electronic form;\n(B) A copy of the power of attorney that gives the agent specific authority over digital assets or general authority to act on behalf of the principal;\n(C) A certification by the agent, under penalty of perjury, that the power of attorney is in effect;\n(D) If requested by the custodian, either of the following:\n(1) A number, username, address, or other unique subscriber or account identifier assigned by the custodian to identify the principal's account;\n(2) Evidence linking the account to the principal.","path":["Title 21 Courts-Probate-Juvenile","Chapter 2137 Uniform Fiduciary Access To Digital Assets Act"],"source_url":"https://codes.ohio.gov/ohio-revised-code/section-2137.09","current_through":"2017-04-06 (House Bill 432 - 131st General Assembly)","vintage":"","retrieved_at":"2026-09-14T19:24:30Z","sha256":"0fe95d9596bb8cab0801b496765a192dd6009a5749ff8ecf618af83e41f81bdf","source_id":"us-oh","stale":false,"prev":"us-oh/ohio-rev.-code-2137.08","next":"us-oh/ohio-rev.-code-2137.10"},"notice":"GroundRules: Original legal text.
