Code § 2501.013","heading":"Additional judges in first through fourth districts.","body":"(A) There shall be three additional judges of the court of appeals of the first district, composed of Hamilton county.\nThe additional three judges shall be elected at the general election in 1976 for terms of six years, their terms to commence on successive days beginning on the tenth day of February, 1977. The additional judges shall thereafter be elected to hold terms of six years.\nIn the first district, any three judges shall comprise the court of appeals in the hearing and disposition of cases in accordance with any local rules of practice and procedure that may be adopted by the judges of the court.\n(B) There shall be two additional judges of the court of appeals of the second district, composed of Champaign, Clark, Darke, Greene, Miami, and Montgomery counties.\nOne of the additional judges of the second district court of appeals shall be elected at the general election in 1980 for a term of six years beginning February 10, 1981. One of the additional judges of the second district court of appeals shall be elected at the general election in 1986 for a term of six years beginning February 11, 1987. The additional judges shall thereafter be elected to hold terms of six years.\nIn the second district, any three judges shall comprise the court of appeals in the hearing and disposition of cases in accordance with any local rules of practice and procedure that may be adopted by the judges of the court.\n(C) There shall be one additional judge of the court of appeals of the third district, composed of Mercer, Van Wert, Paulding, Defiance, Henry, Putnam, Allen, Auglaize, Hancock, Hardin, Logan, Union, Seneca, Shelby, Marion, Wyandot, and Crawford counties.\nThe additional judge shall be elected at the general election in 1986 for a term of six years beginning February 11, 1987. The additional judge shall thereafter be elected to hold terms of six years.\nIn the third district, any three judges shall comprise the court of appeals in the hearing and disposition of cases in accordance with any local rules of practice and procedure that may be adopted by the judges of the court.\n(D) There shall be one additional judge of the court of appeals of the fourth district, composed of Adams, Highland, Pickaway, Ross, Pike, Scioto, Lawrence, Gallia, Jackson, Meigs, Vinton, Hocking, Athens, and Washington counties.\nThe additional judge shall be elected at the general election in 1988 for a term of six years beginning February 10, 1989.
