Code § 3115.612","heading":"Recognition of order modified in another state.","body":"If a child-support order issued by a tribunal of this state is modified by a tribunal of another state which assumed jurisdiction pursuant to its uniform interstate family support act, a tribunal of this state:\n(A) May enforce its order that was modified only as to arrears and interest accruing before the modification;\n(B) May provide appropriate relief for violations of its order that occurred before the effective date of the modification;\n(C) Shall recognize the modifying order of the other state, upon registration, for the purpose of enforcement.","path":["Title 31 Domestic Relations-Children","Chapter 3115 Uniform Interstate Family Support Act of 2008"],"source_url":"https://codes.ohio.gov/ohio-revised-code/section-3115.612","current_through":"2016-01-01 (House Bill 64 - 131st General Assembly)","vintage":"","retrieved_at":"2026-09-14T19:24:32Z","sha256":"445861ffa6bbc9c88c54e6b7759febfcc37b2c197610f4e96e7b12c8c63e21e2","source_id":"us-oh","stale":false,"prev":"us-oh/ohio-rev.-code-3115.611","next":"us-oh/ohio-rev.-code-3115.613"},"notice":"GroundRules: Original legal text.
