Code § 3333.0416","heading":"Investigation of fees charged by state institutions.","body":"(A) The chancellor of higher education may do both of the following with regard to student fees:\n(1) Investigate all fees charged to students by any state institution of higher education, as defined in section 3345.011 of the Revised Code;\n(2) Prohibit any state institution from charging a fee that the chancellor determines is not in the best interest of the students.\n(B) If the chancellor prohibits a state institution from charging a fee pursuant to this section, the institution may seek approval from the controlling board to charge the fee.","path":["Title 33 Education-Libraries","Chapter 3333 Department of Higher Education"],"source_url":"https://codes.ohio.gov/ohio-revised-code/section-3333.0416","current_through":"2017-09-29 (House Bill 49 - 132nd General Assembly)","vintage":"","retrieved_at":"2026-09-14T19:24:33Z","sha256":"bbd9b82016c5d2abf901f7b603e35370ac3e15d946cccfcda0abaa6c310499e4","source_id":"us-oh","stale":false,"prev":"us-oh/ohio-rev.-code-3333.0415","next":"us-oh/ohio-rev.-code-3333.0417"},"notice":"GroundRules: Original legal text.
